On 7 and 8 November 2013, Mieke Leyssen presented a work in progress paper titled “Manipulating Social Roles in a Tagging Environment” at the First Conference on Human Computation & Crowdsourcing in Palm Springs, California. In the paper she introduces a structured experiment to investigate whether the manipulation of online social roles can affect user behavior in a tagging task.
On Thursday, 14 November 2013 the 3rd Symposium of the project SEALINCMedia: “Socially-Enriched Access to Linked Cultural Media” will be held at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. You can see some of the presentations here.
